About your host Grant Dixon
Tour host Grant Dixon over his 30 years of involvement with NZ Fishing News has travelled to Samoa a couple of dozen times where he has trolled, cast, and jigged his way through the available species list. He helped put Samoa International Game Fishing association's international tournament on the map so knows many of the people and the culture well. It was here he caught his first Marlin and at one stage held the all-tackle yellowfin tuna record (68 kg), well beaten now!
Grant has hosted many offshore adventures with groups of varying sizes and is looking forward to having you aboard the 2025 trip to one of his favourite South Pacific fishing destinations
